Arsenal midfielder, Declan Rice, has created a record following his side’s UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
Rice played the entire duration of the encounter as goals from Viktor Gyokeres and Julian Alvarez ensured both teams drew in Spain.
According to OptaJoe, Rice had the most touches (99) and completed the most passes (83) of any player in this week’s Champions League semi-final games.
The England international will now hope to continue his impressive display for Arsenal when they face Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.
The 27-year-old has been impressive for the Gunners since joining the Premier League North London club from West Ham United in 2023.
